Essential Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the employee is responsible for testing, maintenance, and repair of various assemblies and tools.
Completes all required documentation on failure analysis and any other work performed on equipment.
Troubleshoots tests and assembles tools and assemblies.
Assists in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
Provides technical support to other groups and co-workers.
Maintain equipment and time utilization records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.
Ability to coach other technicians.
Assists in configuring, preparing, maintaining, utilizing and/or designing test stations and test equipment.
Performs tests with instructions and documentation profitability and customer satisfaction and meet growth targets in Geomarket.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science with 5+ years of experience.
MS Office: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, SAP
Desired Characteristics:
Must be able to demonstrate analytical skills.
Knowledge of specific products.
Knowledge of testing procedures and specific equipment required to perform repair and maintenance.
Good verbal and writing skills.
Proficient in the use of multi-meters, meggers, hipot testers and other basic electronic instruments such as Vernier, Caliper Tape Measure, Overhead Crane, Forklift e.a.
Can read, interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
Demonstrates the ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems.
Proficient in the use of all laboratory owned test and measure equipment.
