QUALIFICATIONS/ATTAINMENTS:
HND, B.Sc in Engineering or related field of study
Professional Qualification i.e. COREN, MNSE, MNIQS, RQS, PMP.
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Work with the Project Management team in monitoring the Quality of work being executed and progress measurement.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Min 12 years Civil Engineering experience in a Construction Project Environment.
Proven track record in contributing to the improvement of project profitability, cash flow and control of commercial risk in previous roles.
Commercially, financially and contractually aware with good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial leadership skills with proven capability of working in a matrix environment and of leading by influence.
Industry Legal Awareness: Full understanding and working knowledge of the key legal risk areas such as but not limited to Contractual Liability, Insurance requirements, defective performance and Warranty obligations for goods and services and application of same in the construction industry.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Project management and supervision skills
Ability to monitor and evaluate the work at the job site as a project
