Civil Engineer Consultant

We are looking for an innovative Civil engineer Consultant to develop and construct a high-rise building apartment / Office type range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion. 
 
Qualification & Experience:
 
Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering.
NSE / COREN certificate will be mandatory.
Must have a minimum of 15 years of working experience.
Proven appropriate experience within a similar role and similar project.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:

Designs construction projects by studying project concept and architectural drawings
Prepares engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests on soil composition
Prepares feasibility study by analyzing engineering design; conducting environmental impact studies; assembling data
Prepares engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules
Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress; inspecting construction site; verifying calculations and placements
Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests
Maintains project database by writing computer programs; entering data; completing backups. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Project management and supervision skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications Assess potential risks, materials, and costs
Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with contractors.
Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
Monitor progress and compile reports on project status
Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
