-Administer all projects for all coastal restoration and develop plans to protect the shoreline and analyze all coastal hazard and prepare flood plan maps.
-Analyze projects and develop all budgets and schedule for coastal projects.
-Develop all required environmental documents and evaluate and all technical documents and participate in all client meetings.
-Coordinate with hydrologists and design engineers to manage all coastal resources effectively.
-Analyze all coastal hazards and model all hydrodynamics for various processes.
-Monitor all project deliverables and participate in all project plans and facilitate to develop an effective project schedule.
-Monitor all coastal shoreline restoration processes and associate to resolve all mitigation processes.
-Provide support to all emergency activities in the coastal region.
Technical leadership in the assessment, analysis, and design of coastal/maritime engineering projects
-Project management to ensure efficient delivery of quality output to the agreed budgets (this will include preparing deliverables such as written reports, drawings, and calculations)
-Liaising and communicating with clients to understand and manage client needs and deliver projects on time
-Maintaining/developing and applying specialist knowledge/distinctive competence
-Preparing and implementing job plans
Qualification and Skills Required.
-Degree qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering and related discipline.
-10 years professional experience in the assessment, analysis, and design of coastal and maritime structures (breakwaters, groynes, foreshore protection measures, wharves, dredged channels, jetties, port developments, marinas, seawalls, pontoons)
-Relevant experience in proposal preparation and a successful record in project/job management
-Strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
-The ability to work well in a team environment and an appreciation of the importance of respect and integrity
