Job Summary
Responsible for maintenance, repair and support of all turbines ranging from 6,000 to 25,000 horsepower. A key component of this role involves running diagnostics, visual inspection and troubleshooting our operations to minimize issues and downtime.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS

Handles repair work, maintenance, preventative work and overhauls on industrial 4-cycle engines such as Caterpillar, White Superior, Waukesha; 2-cycle engines like Integrals; Siemens turbines, fans, pumps, electrical motors, air/gas compressors, hydraulic equipment and Turbo Expanders.
Responsible for achieving optimum performance and reliability of equipment and related parts.

Follows equipment repair manuals and tutorials.
Serve as a resource for other employees, contractors, and vendors when opportunities for instruction, mentorship, guidance, or expertise arise.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of first degree or equivalent 
Minimum: 2+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry tied to compressors and heavy duty diesel engines.
Knowledge of plant operations, processes, electrical layout, and safety systems.
Prior experience as an industrial mechanic.

REQUIREMENTS
Ability to interpret equipment repair manuals.
Ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbally).
Ability to perform job duties in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities and sometimes under stress.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening, which includes a drug test (position is subject to ongoing drug testing as a term of continued employment)
