These are the scopes and accountabilities for this role, but not limited to;
-Understanding of fluid stream chemistry and related corrosivity from wellhead to export facilities
- Understanding of external corrosion phenomena in offshore and onshore application
-Corrosion modeling
-Materials selection
-Corrosion inhibitor selection and testing
-CP design and corrosion coatings selection and application
-Identify and/or define criticality. Develop risk-based assessments and RBI programs
-Corrosion management – Inspection and monitoring techniques
-Integrity management databases
Ability to work effectively across technology functions and within multi-disciplinary teams
-Manage small to medium-sized projects
-Provide consultancy internally and externally on specialist engineering discipline
-Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
-Issuing of Technical Reports
Maintain reimbursability throughout the year
Develop and support staff technical mentoring system
-Development and submission of proposals
Compliance with the company’s Quality and HSE policies
-Achieve company goals / personal KPI’s
Involvement with industry associations and academic institutions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will require 10 years of experience and an Engineering Degree, B.ENG., M.ENG Corrosion, Materials or Chemical
