Job Knowledge/Experience
• Knowledge and understanding and proficiency in the use of basic and modern drilling engineering software applications for well engineering design and construction.
• An understanding and appreciation of drilling and operations discipline and how they interact with other functions in the organization.
• Knowledgeable in well control and subsurface well pressure monitoring and management.
• Must possess strong economics, risk assessment, and strategy development skills.
• Ability to work with other asset functions to ensure timely delivery of asset/company objectives.
• Experience managing contractors in line with a contract for service
• Knowledge of Well Engineering and Petroleum standards and regulations
Minimum Qualification, Experience
B.Sc. / B. Eng. / B.Tech in an Engineering or Science discipline)
Minimum 15 years in E&P environment with substantial experience in drilling, completions, and workovers including field-based experience as well as proven leadership experience to provide guidance and support Well Engineering team to achieve their targets.
Well Engineering certifications (e.g. IWCF Certification)
