Ensure that firemen perform their daily inspections and fire fighting equipment maintenance.
Control and direct the activities of his team during fire rescue or fire fighting intervention operations.
Ensure that the firemen act with integrity and professionally while carrying out fire rescue or fire fighting intervention.
Evaluate the safety and security of the incident area at all time during an intervention. When the situation is considered not safe or the security of the environment is degraded, demobilize his team from the incident site.
Ensure that firemen carry out regular fitness exercise and drill in order to remain agile at all time.
Ensure that his team follows the HSE rules and regulations
Ensure all reports after any intervention is timely prepared
Qualifications & Experience
HND or BSc with at least 5 years of experience in firefighting.
Industrial firefighting certificate from any government training school
Experience in refilling SCBA
Experience in use, inspection & maintenance of rescue tools
Experience in crowd control and crowd management
Experience in Rescue and Emergency operations
Specific firefighting training such as Advance Firefighting training
Membership of a well-recognized firefighting
