Job Description
• Building high-resolution geo-cellular models from scratch independently without supervision
• Uncertainty analysis of the model and generation of statistical maps of the reservoir properties
• Stochastic and deterministic volumetric generation and reporting as per standard guidelines
• Generating field development plans
• Interpreting well log correlation, seismic interpretation of 2D & 3D data
• Working across multiple projects in both clastic & carbonate basins across Asia
• Modelling highly deviated and complex structures for fractured basement reservoirs.
The Candidate Requirements
• 10+ years of relevant experience either with an operator or consulting group. At least 5 years of geo-modelling experience
• Bachelor's & Master's degree in Geology or equivalent relevant discipline.
• Must be comfortable building high-resolution geo-cellular models from scratch
• Must be experienced in updating models with inputs from petrophysics and reservoir engineering for geo-cellular model
• Highly skilled with industry-standard static modeling software like Landmark Decision Space and Petrel etc.
• Must be able to help reservoir engineers to simulate the model
• Should have strong petroleum geology fundamentals
• Excellent presentation and report writing skills
