Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for field Inspection with Electrical discipline.
Provides leadership for environmental safety health injury/accident and fire prevention on the project.
Monitors area for unsafe conditions behaviors and practices and take appropriate corrective action to mitigate and eliminate. Enforce safe work behaviour and practices at all times in conjunction with the Area HSSE team.
Ensure that project processes and local/national safety codes requirements and standards are being compiled with within assigned area of responsibility. Ensures the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into every aspect of project operation and actively participates in the project safety program.
Determines workforce requirements. Coordinates established area operational plans. Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each team. Monitor work activities and ensures the quality of work performed in accordance with current design documentation and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
Approves team time records using established automated tools
Prepares reports and forecasts including summary of project progress team personnel forecasts and expenditures forecast.
Monitors tool usage on the site. Prepares Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the teams have the tools they require to be productive.
Responsible for the implementation of corporate/project policies procedures and instructions within assigned operations.
Coordinates activities with other disciplines or areas and clients’ resident representatives, as instructed by project management.
Performs project employee reviews and identifies training and development opportunities for subordinate personnel.
Ensures that IPMC and local/national safety codes requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility.
Ensures the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into every aspect of project operation. Actively participates in scheduled safety meetings

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical discipline with minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience.
Intermediate knowledge of EPC and EPCM construction programs technologies means and methods.
Intermediate knowledge of supervisory functions relating to construction field activities.
Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H) and commitment to the Zero Accident safety program.
