Collect field data from fixed water quality monitoring stations on a recurrent basis;
Collect habitat, biological, and chemical data to assess the appropriate assignment of beneficial uses to waterbodies;
Develop proficient calibration and use of environmental equipment;
Complete environmental assessment reviews for permits;
Conduct field investigations in response to resource concerns or complaints;
Review, validate, and record data in an environmental database.
Skills / Qualifications/ Experience
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in hydrobiology, limnology or a related field is preferred.
ISO 14001 Certified
At least 5 Years’ experience in similar role.
NEBOSH Certified.
OHSAS (18001)
In-depth knowledge of chemical, biological, and physical characteristics of water and wastewater
Environmental principles and practices and how they apply to the control of water pollution;
Taxonomy of aquatic species including vertebrates, invertebrates, and plants;
Data management and statistical analysis of environmental data.
