Purpose / Role
Supervise and allocate resources to achieve the required performance of equipment and systems
To ensure the Maintenance Team delivers its activities at the asset in a safe and efficient manner that is in accordance with the Maintenance plan and in compliance with stated work processes and procedures
 
Key aims and objectives
To ensure the availability of all plant and equipment to safely achieve production targets
 
Prime responsibilities and duties
Organizing, planning and executing the maintenance regime
Management of the planned maintenance system
Supervision of all maintenance staff and other resources
Ensuring that all plant and equipment is available to meet production and other performance targets
Recording the total maintenance effort and implementation of a continuous performance improvement programme
Ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with the permit to work system
Responsible for spares and maintenance equipment management on location
Responsible for overall plant and equipment availability
Developing an awareness of the cost of maintenance activities
Allied occasional duties
Perform Emergency Response duties as required
Carry out maintenance activities
Participate in business improvement initiatives
Mentor / Coach Trade Apprentices
 
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent  in Engineering or other related fields
Senior maintenance position held on a producing facility for a significant period
Good knowledge of maintenance techniques and tools
Comprehensive experience of offshore maintenance
Knowledge of planned maintenance systems
Excellent communication skills
Specialist in mechanical instrument or electrical maintenance
