Job Description

Role:
The navigation QC consultants will monitor and advise on navigation and positioning of sources and receivers and navigation process associated with the project
Responsible for ensuring that the units produced or manufactured comply with quality standards set by the industry
Overseeing the entire production process finding out erroneous methods or tools being used by workers minutely observing the units produced for visible defects performing various tests so as to check for durability of the product and other desirable characteristics taking down the findings preparing reports accepting or rejecting lots produced, participating in implementation of quality control programs preparing training manuals and quality guidelines and performing other tasks assigned by the manufacturing engineer
Ensure that working practices on the vessel are in strict accordance with the Contractors Safety Management Systems attend all onboard safety meetings
Responsible for visual and physical inspection sampling testing and control of parts products and raw materials to conform to established specifications applicable standards of API and the ISO 9001:2008 Quality System
Provides on-hands leadership related to product improvement and problem-solving
Conduct and oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials and products both in the process and finished
Preservation of Quality Control documents and daily reporting of information
Shall monitor the performance of navigation & positioning systems on a day to day basis
 
Qualification/Experience:
 Possess as a minimum BS.c/MSc relevant to Petroleum Industry
Must have  (10+) years continuous years of active support for the 3D Seismic acquisition
 Must have experience in 2D, 3D, 4D, OBC and Broadband surveys
Project Management for 3D Offshore Marine Seismic Survey
 HSE documentation preparation (CLIENT + Contractor) and monitoring
 Managing and leading offshore operations
Skills:
Strategic planning, execution and cost tracking of the survey
 Logistics Coordinator
Project Management
Knowledgeable in inspection and testing methods
 Understanding of drawings, technical documents, and specifications, as well as an understanding of manufacturing systems; i.e. MRP systems
 Knowledgeable in inspection and testing methods
Safety, Security & Environment Team Lead (SSH&EE)
Role:
Be part of a team providing specialist support to projects from concept, FEED and detailed design services for both onshore and offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
The Geophysical Project SSH&EE QC monitors and advice on safety security health and environment (SSH&EE) matters associated with the project
Responsible for performing Life Critical assessments and training. (e.g., work permitting job planning hot work confined space awareness management of change awareness lockout/tag-out and gas detection awareness). 
 Responsible to perform initial orientation of qualified vendors to ensure any bridging of safety management systems is communicated effectively. 
 Coordinate and participate in HSE assurance audits providing expertise in employee safety and process safety
Support supervision to ensure that a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is conducted effectively for all jobs and that they are properly documented. 
Provide health safety and environmental expertise to offshore supervision and general personnel 
 Provide instruction and delivery of safety concepts practices and procedures for personnel 
Provide guidance to ensure that all company management system policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to 
Provide consultation on the regulatory requirements pertaining to the offshore work environment, (e.g. emergency response, incident investigation, evaluation of safe work processes and risk management) 
Qualification/Experience:
Must have Ten (10) years experience in geophysical deepwater field operations in an SSH&E expert role with at least 5 years on marine Seismic (OBN or Streamer) crews.
Must have Ten (10) years experience in offshore operations and have experience and certification as an SSH&E auditor on marine Seismic vessels including training in SSH&E management.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety/MSc, HSE or another technical discipline from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a professional safety role. 
Safety Certification preferred or similar equivalent recognized Occupational Safety & Health Certification
Experience working in an offshore setting (not offshore projects) 
Demonstrated experience supporting deepwater field operations and project groups. 
 
Skills:
The ability the communicate clearly and communicate key messages at all levels both on and off-site
Skilled at influencing and motivating a large team of multi-disciplined individuals and will set clear goals and objectives that SHE performance can be measured against.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision on a wide range of environmental and health and safety activities, and achieving results with agreed-upon objectives and deadlines;
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and familiarity with relevant computer software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AutoCAD)
Decision making and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills.
