Position Description:
We are looking for Gas Production Engineers covers all aspects of high pressure, high rate gas well activities in an actively expanding gas program, including: well completions, well integrity, production surveillance/optimization, well intervention, and application of new technologies
Minimum Requirements:
As a successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering. MS additional advantage, intensive industry training including appropriate specialized courses and seminars is expected.
You must have at least 10 years of related experience, including 5 years of intensive experience in your specialty. HP/HT gas production engineering experience is preferred.
You should have the ability to provide technical support for gas well operations, including all aspects of well intervention, well testing, and application of state-of-the-art technologies.
You should be active in related professional societies and will have achieved professional recognition through publications, committee activities, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:
Monitor daily drilling and work-over activities to ensure the full implementation of operating and business plans requirements.
Prepare detailed rigless well intervention programs and supervise jobs in the field.
Perform well intervention activities to obtain required well/reservoir performance data.
Monitor production performance, diagnose any anomalies and recommend engineering solutions.
Perform production optimization activities to ensure reliability and optimum well performance.
Participate in project technical review and review proposals to ensure efficient/economic operations.
Champion new technologies aimed at improving well integrity, productivity and improving efficiency.
Conduct seminars; prepare manuals, train engineers and production operating personnel.
