-Support the implementation of project schedule management programmes that provide an accurate reflection of project performance at a project and programme level.
-Manage and coordinate planning interfaces (Internal & External) and sources of planning information.
-Provide a planning & scheduling focal point for project and delivery managers and supervisors.
-Ensure project plans and schedules are delivered on time and within the guidelines of the project controls processes and procedures.
-Identify efficiency or improvements in all areas - manpower utilization, equipment, downtime, work flow and production
-Represent the project controls planning function as required in internal reviews and in project status meetings with the client.
-Provide guidance and support to more junior planning personnel in the delivery of their specific responsibilities.
-Contribute to the development of the project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with project stakeholders.
-Produce project plans and schedules in accordance with project reporting requirements(including engineering, construction, hook up and commissioning).
-Produce and issue updates to project plans and schedules (fully logic linked with a critical path) to enable performance analysis to be carried out.
-Produce and issue updates to project manpower requirements – BackOffice, IC’s and Offshore.
-Monitor overall project progress and achievement of major milestones.
-Contribute to the schedule critical path analysis required to justify extensions of time for project change orders / variations.
-Produce contract/project S curves in accordance with agreed reporting calendar.
-Facilitation of internal project planning and progress meetings as required.
-Attend client monthly meetings and present project schedule performance status.
Requirement
-Must have at least twelve (12) years experience in the construction of roads
