Responsibilities:
-Interfacing with our regional businesses, projects, and engineering technical user community to identify functional requirements; recommend and support project information; and assist with engineering and collaboration applications;
-Coordinating engineering systems and information management, including upgrades, multi-discipline activities, installations, licensing, hardware recommendations, deployment, kickoff meetings & application readiness;
-Identifying roadmaps to align systems across the business unit, in line with company strategy;
-Providing supplier data integration including supplier models & drawings; and
-Supporting global work share application and infrastructure, including recommendations, deployment, and support.
Skills / Qualifications
-Must have 10 years of experience in a related position in the engineering and/or construction industry.
-Bachelor of Information Technology or related discipline
Must also have any experience with:
-Working with the processes and terminologies associated with engineering contract project execution and delivery;
-Administering, configuring, and supporting information management, project document management, and global project work-sharing using the following applications: SharePoint, Navisworks, and Aveva PDMS as well as associated integrated document management and engineering tools and systems; and
-Technical support of engineering design and project control applications using Solid works, AutoCAD, and 3D systems.
