Responsible for petroleum product movements in and out of pipeline pump stations uses tools and techniques to accurately assess quantify and quality crude oil and produce water products and is responsible for the storage of products and custody transfer activities LACT with connecting carriers and customers
Routinely inspects pumps and valves for proper operation, regular PM schedule.
Valve maintenance per spec design and proper fitting replacement.
Inspects perimeter fencing locks etc. to maintain proper facility pipeline and ROW security and addresses and reports any Deficiencies.
Inspects and assures that routine and compliance maintenance is performed on ROW equipment and valves.
Maintains communications with Operations Control Center.
Acts as a witness to meter proving crude oil shipment from lease to delivery point and coordinate run of pipeline pigs as needed thru Produce water and Crude Oil Petroleum pipelines.
Perform other pipeline-related tasks or projects as deemed necessary by Pipeline Operations Supervisor.
Assist with construction and maintenance during new and existing pipeline installation.
Additional duties will consist of line locating facilities gauging OSR sponsors.
Educational Qualification and Experience
Minimum B.Sc. in Engineering or related courses
3+ years practical experience working independently in a supervisory role with water well operations.
5+ years working on pump station pipeline.
Must have pipeline knowledge and experience and capability to take on a wide range of pipeline responsibilities and ability to manage pump station pipeline and lease crude oil shipping responsibilities in a safe manner.
Ability to read and comprehend technical operational manuals, PIDS.
As job proficiency is attained the ability to calculate fluid flow determine and perform chemical batch scheduling and coordinate related activities and use basic sampling equipment.
