JOB DESCRIPTION
The QHSE manager will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental program. The QHSE will be the direct support to the Project managers, and will report directly to the leadership team, including any improvement needs.
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Introduce and develop the company QHSE system with a target to reach ISO 9001 standard.
Be knowledgeable in all aspect of the ISO 9001 standard.
Insured all staff are inducted in the QHSE requirement.
Monitor and ensure that Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental legislation is complied with and ensure a safe working environment.
Create and update a document record for the whole aspect of the system.
Evaluate, analyze quality issues, HSE issues as well as introduce corrective and preventive action plans.
Provide expert HSE consulting services to field operations to include innovative and cost-effective solutions to operations.
Act as liaison with client and subcontractors to ensure compliance with client expectations.
Provide oversight of subcontractor pre-qualification process and ensure the proper indoctrination of all subcontractor personnel.
Heavily involved in the health and safety side of all HSE programs, including the development of safety and health training programs as well as procedure development.
Liaise with management and staff to ensure continued QHSE integration and operation.
Have excellent verbal and written English with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Time management and organizational skills.
Familiar with Oil and Gas environment is a plus.
 
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years in a previous QHSE position
