Regulatory Wells Specialist

-Ability to multi-task various projects. 
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple groups (internal and external) to produce the required regulatory documents.
-Strong presentation skills - able to distill and communicate complex messages, direction, and strategies from regulatory bodies to management.
-Experience working with personnel on offshore production and drilling facilities with regards to technical and regulatory issues.
-Interpersonal skills to integrate trust into relationships with Regulators and Internal Stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
-Strong compliance and support/enthusiasm for HSE Excellence.
Job Requirements
-Bachelor degree or significant on-the-job experience.
Basic computer skills with MS Office products; MS-ACCESS, BSEE databases.
-Quality written and oral communication skills.
-Operations experience (preferred) but understanding well operations along with drilling/BOP equipment and processes is acceptable.
-Knowledge of Federal offshore regulations involving drilling/completion/intervention/abandonment operations.
-Experience with GoM Deepwater Well related permits.
-Experience working regulatory issues
-Written and oral mastery of the English language to effectively understand and disseminate technical issues into a format that facilitates communication between Regulators and internal stakeholders.
