Effectively lead cross-functional research teams to successful project completion
Effectively represent an organization in high-level interactions with strategic partners with excellent communications skills as well as credibility as a leader
Work in IR4.0 and digital projects and master all enabling fields such as digitalization, modeling, machine learning, programing, prototyping, AR/VR, mobile development, and/or AI.
Train team members and conduct knowledge sharing sessions regarding data science.
Work with engineers of different disciplines providing support to ensure the reliability of projects.
Design and implement field development plans for unconventional resource plays.
Monitor operating expenses to operate and maintain wells to produce the highest volumes of oil and gas at the lowest cost.
Gather, perform calculations on and analyze data such as well tests, fluid levels, bottom-hole pressures, and decline curves to assure efficient producing and equipment utilization.
Prepare requirements for well construction, develop well designs for new wells, and provide technical assistance to drilling staff to ensure that each well is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualification and Experience
Minimum Masters in science or engineering related courses
Minimum of 12 years', with a strong preference for 15 years' plus, progressive professional experience including a minimum of 3 years working experience as a specialist with full responsibility for supervising major technical work, gaining recognition as a leading expert in IR4.0-enabling fields, such as digitalization, modeling, machine learning, programing, prototyping, AR/VR, mobile development, and/or AI in addition to an industry experience with a major technology developer and oil and gas operations background.
Knowledge of the following applications is required: IHS Harmony, Kappa Workstation Suite (Saphir, Topaze minimum), GOHFER (DFIT Analysis), Petroleum Expert, CMG, Peep, OFM, MOSAIC, PVTsim NOVA, and EOS modeling is preferred
Good understanding, of stimulation program design, open hole and cased hole logging capabilities, well test analysis (pressure transient analysis and rate transient analysis), decline curve analysis, dynamic reservoir modeling, reserves classification, EUR predictions, and well spacing optimization, as you will be required to support key development decisions
Field development/economic concepts with a broad knowledge in drilling, completions, and reservoir stimulation technologies, with an understanding of horizontal multistage fracturing for unconventional reservoir.
