JOB DESCRIPTION
Support on going personal competence requirements.
Maintain a rope access equipment inventory, ensuring that the equipment is fit for purpose and certification is kept up to date.
Plan rope access activities, generate method statements and rescue plans.
Ensure that all pre-task control of work documentation is in place, communicated and adhered to.
Supervise and direct rope access personnel and operations.
Ensure works sites and equipment are left in an appropriate condition, between shifts, end of shifts and rotational handovers.
Provide support and mentoring to developing RA technicians and 
Nationalization programs
Maintain rope access logs and records
Maintain open and active communication with Functional Manager - participate in sharing bulletins and lessons learned, roll out company procedural updates.

Requirements
Bsc in Mechanical Engineering or COMPANY approved equivalent in a technical discipline.
IRATA Level II or Level III (See also below NOTE)
Valid PCN, CSWIP or ASNT Level II in UT (Plate and Pipe).
Valid PCN, CSWIP or ASNT Level II in MPI.
Valid Visual Inspection Certificate.
Preferred certified to API 570 or API 510 course & examination
7 years in petrochemical or oil & gas related industry.
5 years in Maintenance Inspection, NDT & visual inspection and corrosion monitoring of In-Service plant & equipment.
2 years? experience in rope access techniques in oil & gas industry
Additional Requirements
Working experience on welding, painting & coating inspection.
Working experience on visual inspection & NDT on risers and structures.
Ability to work with electronic gauges and data loggers, like Pan. 36DL, EPOCH IIIand others of the same category.
