Job Description

Role:
 Provides an independent geophysical evaluation as part of an on-going technical review to enable a full commercial evaluation of all assets.
Interprets and maps seismic data relating to operated, non-operated and new venture projects. 
Performs geophysical studies using the workstation and PC-based software, and writes technical reports in conjunction with team members and support staff
Undertakes seismic structural interpretation, mapping and seismic attribute studies using workstation interpretation, and mapping and cartographic software to identify drillable, economic prospects
The data integrity QC representative monitors and advises onboard 3D data acquisition quality control products, onboard data processing, and verification of data deliverables
Must be responsible for providing technical reviews of geophysical projects, well maturation/delivery, and Well Reservoir Facility Management (WRFM) activities, as well as mentoring.
 Will report to the Geophysics Team Lead (TL) and will support development and reservoir surveillance activities for the assets within a Production Unit (PU), focusing on optimizing reservoir recovery, and identifying reserves and development opportunities.

Qualification/Experience:
Must have (15) years of active QC for support for the 2D &3D Seismic acquisition, interpretation work, field processing, and data management support.
Proven record of maturing opportunities in deepwater settings.
Thoroughly understand subsurface uncertainties (structural positioning, reservoir, and fluid properties) and can fluently relate to business decisions at hand to guide project teams to derive efficient and robust subsurface solutions.
Proficient in all aspects of quantitative interpretation (QI), including synthetic modeling, spectral & depth decomposition, illumination & de-remigration studies, seismic inversions, Close-the-Loop 
A relevant geotechnical software application
Experience of exploration and field development projects
Experience in WRFM roles, a track record of opportunity identification and solid delivery
BSc in sciences; Masters, and/or Ph.D. will be a significant advantage
 
Skills:
Skilled in good planning and deepwater field operations
Skilled in well delivery and Integrated Reservoir Modeling (IRM) processes and understand how geophysics interacts with other disciplines - when geophysics can impact and what the limitations are.
 Management includes Wells, Partners, Regulatory, Subsea, WRFM and Deepwater field operations, teams.
Designs, plans, supervises and manages geophysical acquisition and processing programs
