Job Summary

We are actively seeking a top Seismic Data Acquisition Geophysicist 

As the successful candidate you will have adequate experience in 2D/3D seismic data evaluation, and survey designs for both land and marine. You will have the field experience to properly QC seismic data and have significant exposure to working on challenging megaprojects with multiple clients and multiple service providers.

You will have experience of dealing with new technologies such as high productivity methods, point sources and point receivers, and shallow marine acquisition.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor's degree in geophysics or alternative disciplines including physics, geology or engineering.

You will have a minimum of 12 years' experience in seismic/non-seismic data acquisition (both land and marine).

Experience of working in different countries or regions is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Work within a multidisciplinary team, evaluate 2D/3D seismic data, and review survey designs for both land and marine.

Implement new methods and technologies that provide solutions to geophysical challenges.

Take responsibility for making effective decisions inland, and marine seismic data acquisition. 

Liaise directly with interpreters/clients, presenting work and making recommendations to improve seismic data acquisition processes.

Function in a leadership-based role, mentoring and training less experienced colleagues, and providing structured training as required.
