Essential Responsibilities:
In this role Senior Cloud Infrastructure Automation Architect, you will:
Build enterprise Cloud infrastructure automation solutions that support the company Public Cloud strategy
Work on a collaborative team in an Agile / DevOps environment
The ideal individual is relentlessly technical, passionate for automating everything and totally committed to delivering amazing customer experiences
Must demonstrate examples of successful automation, and a willingness to continually learn more Work with Risk and Security teams to continually close out any risks where automation is the remedy
Serves as a level 3 resource for Active Directory and MS-Windows Server fleet improvement projects
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor' Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of experience in hands-on Infrastructure automation code development experience
Technical Expertise:
Experience using Amazon Web Services console, CLI, APIs. AWS Certifications are especially helpful
Experience developing automation solutions (Python, Ruby, Java, Node.js, .NET, etc.)
Experience working within an agile team (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming)
Experience working with common application architectures (app/web servers, containerization, etc.)
Knowledge of IP Networking including VPC's, DNS, load-balancing, and firewalls
Enterprise Scale Systems Administration experience is a plus
Experience with at least one hyper-scaler (AWS, Azure or GCP) designing highly available, highly resilient and secure cloud infrastructure
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or puppet
Experience with provisioning tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
Knowledge of infrastructure as Code and scripting skills e.g Powershell, Python or Ruby
knowledge of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Infrastructure
Experience with containerization platforms and services using Docker and Kubernetes
