Core Objectives
End to end delivery of the contracting and procurement process to ensure that we have in place commercially outstanding category strategies, delivered professionally to ensure safe, efficient and competitive business outcomes
Demonstrate commitment to safety in all activities
Lead, support and personally develop a high performing team of empowered CP professionals
Guide the strategy for QGC Supply Chain in Wells and Projects to ensure it is as competitive as possible, taking market developments and local content needs into account to deliver commercially innovative solutions.
Effective Supplier Relationship Management and Post Award Contract Management to ensure a collaborative supplier relationship with a continuous improvement culture
Ensure a strong connection between the local in-country team and the global C&P organization to ensure bi-directional sharing, leveraging of best practices and selective ongoing migration of contracting work to offshore centers

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent in Engineering or other related fields

We are looking for a 'can-do', inspiring individual with prior experience of leading successful C&P teams.
The successful candidate will be a proven credible safety leader, and uncompromising on HSSE and Ethics & Compliance. 

 Oil and Gas or mining industry experience (1+ Years) would be beneficial,
