Key Responsibilities:
Support delivery of the contract Assurance Programme
Plan and partake in internal project and supplier audits
Conduct Vendor and Supplier Qualification Evaluations
Support in conducting root cause analysis of project
nonconformities and technical incidents
Attend project kick off meetings to provide QA/QC input
Determine inspection level and requirements of product/material
Review and approve product/material requisitions and validate
QC requirements
Provide Quality input to technical bid evaluations
Review and approve necessary vendor and supplier documents including ITPs, NDE procedures and reports, Manufacturing Record Books, etc.
Support 3 rd party inspection coordination process and review inspection reports and release notes
Assist in development and approval of construction and commissioning ITPs
Review construction and commissioning workpacks prior to site issue
Review and validate QC activities to verify products/services satisfy requirements
Conduct review of project technical queries and standard deviation requests
Verify completeness of documentation
Support implementation of quality continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure the closure of Quality requirements for project close out
Regular quality reporting as required and ensure the satisfactory reporting, tracking and closure of project NCRs and Preventive Actions
Qualifications
8 years minimum recent experience in Quality Inspection; multi-discipline related to construction of process plant(s), onshore or offshore, with:
Preferred 2 years site construction experience (Such as welder, welding foreman, structural foreman, field engineer).
High school graduate or equivalent. A college degree in a related field is preferred. Evidence of training in structural inspection is required. CWI, CSWIP or equivalent Certification(s) is mandatory.
Knowledge of industry structural codes and standards.
Knowledgeable in reading structural drawings. Must be proficient in common PC software (MS Word; MS Excel; Lotus Notes; etc.).
