Role Summary/Purpose:
The Wireline, Oil Field Services Technical Support Leader will ensure successful Asset Control, Data Integrity, Material Process and Continuous improvement for the Wireline Services business. This role will also be responsible for working with and providing leadership for the Service Site Managers and Material Handles.
Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Wireline, Oil Field Services Technical Support Leader, you will:
o Participate in the development and lead the execution of Materials and Asset utilization at the Services Sites which includes Monitoring of CE & Utilization to include re-distribution of equipment
o Drive Cycle Counting of assets and explosives process from implementation, RCA and completion.
o Drive Physical Inventory process for Assets and ensure best practices for material management in the regions to ensure compliance to company standards.
o Drive Physical Rental Asset process and ensure compliance to company standards
o Support sites with any action derived from audit findings from inventory or assets compliance
o Manage inventory to mitigate Excess and Obsolete reserves
o Drive excellence in the core operating foundations of Data Integrity, Material Process, and Inventory Control measures.
o Develop/Manager Standard KPI's for business and work with sites to improve these measurements.
o Assist with developing short, mid-range, and long-term business plans.
o Be responsible for building strong long-term relationships with specific internal customers within the region
o Lead and support Material operational processes & initiatives including SAP process adoption and transactional discipline across the organization
o Collaborate with Product Line Directors to develop strategies for our entire asset portfolio to ensure proper NPI introduction, sun-setting equipment, FMN implementation, and managing aged assets.
o Lead efforts such as helping to define standards & leading initiatives to ensure customer service excellence for all customers (internal and external)
o Work closely with the technical support team, field staff, sales, and engineering teams in support of products to our internal customers to resolve issues in a timely manner
o Manage cost control, quality, and operations-oriented customer communications
o Plan, communicate, schedule, and monitor, events and equipment to meet or exceed the requirements of projects with respect to cost, project profitability, overall margin management, timeline, quality, environmental / safety, legal, and other aspects
Qualifications/Requirements:
o Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 9 years of leadership/supervisory experience in leading teams)
o Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership, Asset management or Inventory experience
o Strong SAP knowledge and experience
o Experience with SAP or Oracle site implementations
o In-depth knowledge of Material Handling and Processes
o Strong team leadership skills, effective team contributor and member
o Ability to effectively lead a multi-functional team and thrive within a matrix organization
o Ability to manage effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
