-Ensure that dealings with external clients and suppliers are conducted in a professional, ethical manner
-Manage the timely preparation, approval and effective implementation of the project-specific Procurement Management Plan and Procedures, Instructions and Forms
-Ensure that the relevant training is provided to staff in order to instill an understanding of the systems and procedures
-Ensure the implementation and maintenance of an integrated Supply Chain Management System and its common, consistent application across the project
-Provide procurement service and resources to the project to ensure that goods and services are ordered according to the project schedules, at the best possible prices and with sound contract documentation to minimize commercial risk
-Consult the Project Manager and Construction Manager to participate in Project reviews
-Assist Project Manager with finalization of claims and disputes
