JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Plant and Corporate data Historian Commissioning
Building custom data integrations from corporate data historians to other downstream applications
Developing custom reports, dashboards and process displays leveraging data from Plant and Corporate data Historian
Designing and implementing software solutions that leverage historian data
Leading junior-level resources through system commissioning tasks and quality assurance procedures
Conducting customer stakeholder meetings / solution walk-throughs
Quality assurance/regression testing of software solutions
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
8+ years Post Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
4+ years of relevant experience
Experience working with OSISoft PI, Aspentech IP.21 and/or Honeywell PHD Data historians
Strong working experience with ASP.Net 2.0+, ADO.Net. SQL Server 2008+, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL server Services such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and power BI
Relevant experience with the Oil and Gas (midstream/upstream) and/or power industries is strongly desired for this role.
Professional designation P.Eng is a plus
Knowledge of high availability data historian architectures
Customer integration with similar systems
Proficient in C# (expectation is language, including language features LINQ, multithreading with Tasks and Async/Await etc)
Programming for the .Net platform with an understanding of .Net specific concepts.
XML and JSON data, and related software concepts
Proficient with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps 2019
Experience With WITSML Standard (1.3 & 1.4) is a plus
Experience with latest Web technologies (Angular 2.0+, Bootstrap, NPM etc.)
