Essential Responsibilities: 

In this role Senior Software Engineer - Front-End, you will:
Work on the Avitas Systems inspection platform and related components, creating and testing dashboards for monitoring the stability and performance of them
Collaborate with your team of developers, your Product Owner, and business analyst Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of front-end application development
Desired Characteristics:
Minimum 7 years of front-end application development, preferably single-page applications
Experience developing enterprise applications using the ReactJS framework and NodeJS or one
Experience with one of the other major Javascript frameworks (Polymer, Angular, Ember)
Knowledge and experience with e2e, integration and unit tests
Experience translating business requirements to technical specs
Experience in working in a fast-paced agile team spanning Product, UX Design, backend engineers and QA
Experience in mentoring other engineers and participate in code reviews
Experience in triaging bugs and troubleshooting issues in the platform using modern web development tools
Experience in consuming RESTful APIs (creating them is a plus!)
Extensive experience with version control systems (Git, Github)
Experience translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Experience in cloud-deployed applications using Javascript
Experience using state management frameworks like Redux
Experience with frontend build systems like webpack or rollup is a big plus
Knowledge and Experience with the latest Web API's and front-end technologies is a big plus
Self-starter with the ability to analyze trade-offs between potential solutions to a given problem
