Job Description

As a Utility Surveyor, you will execute utility detection surveys  and undertake all relevant data processing as per client requirements as part of a survey team.
Carry out a wide range of utility surveys in line with relevant procedures
Processing of all captured data and preparation of final deliverables
Managing of survey teams
Attend planning / mobilisation brief with the Survey Co-Ordinator / Client and ensure that the Scope of Work and contract deliverables is fully understood.
Liaise with clients & supervisors involved in projects on site
Planning and efficiently organising work in order to meet agreed deadlines
Manage survey teams on larger projects
Carry out the utility surveys in accordance with the clients Business Management System procedures and the PAS128 standard
Carrying out topographic surveys using GNSS and total stations
Data processing and production of deliverables
Preparing & Checking of drawings and 3D models
Promote a proactive safety culture by active participation in HSSE systems such as stop-cards
Essential:
Proficient use of GPR and EML equipment
Understanding of PAS128
Proficient use of 3D CAD packages (LSS, AutoCAD)
Proficient use of total stations and GNSS systems


Desirable:
BSc in Surveying or other relevant subject
CSCS card
Very skilled application of all aspects of utility surveying
10 years Experience as a Utility Surveyor
