Job Description
Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc.
Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at the company's facilities and client locations.
Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
Adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
Works closely with co-workers, management and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
Requisite knowledge and Skills
Actuators, including pneumatic and hydraulic
Ball Valves, Globe Valves, etc.
Knowledge of Hydrostatic / Gas testing of valves and piping systems
Knowledge of repairing, maintaining and testing mechanical and pressure safety valves or similarly related equipment.
Knowledge of Electric, Pneumatic and Valves Actuators and systems
Competent in the production piping process of offshore facility
Removal, Installation of Pressure Safety valves
