Agatha Afemikhe, ACA, MBA., is an experienced ESG Consultant at IPMC. She has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and also an MBA degree with a specialization in finance and accounts, Lead City University, Ibadan. Agatha has cross-sectoral knowledge and experience advising clients on Environmental and Social Performance, Sustainability/ESG Strategy, Environmental and Social Management Plans, Environmental and Social Management System, climate change, Sustainability Reporting, E & S Due Diligence and Impact Assessment. Agatha has worked with diverse teams in the Oil and Gas logistics sector before specializing in ESG consulting, with certifications from institutes like the ICAN, UNITAR, Agatha has experience in consulting projects across a range of industries from food and agriculture, to banks, Oil & gas, financial services and government institutions. Her wealth of experience advising on maintaining a healthy bottom line for companies makes her an excellent addition to the team as the goal of every ESG exercise is to promote a sustainable business while ensuring the company stays profitable.
Chika Onyekwere – Senior Environmental Consultant
Chika Onyekwere is an environmental consultant with over 6 years of experience, passionate about sustainability for equity and socio-economic development across sectors. Chika holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and is certified in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015), Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001:2018), Health, Safety and Environment, Energy Management, Sustainability, Environmental and Social Management systems, climate change, Environmental Impact Assessment and Business Leadership. Chika worked as the Business Operations Manager at the LeadPath Consulting Group, Nigeria, where she rebranded and repositioned the organization’s goals through several key operational services, maintained stakeholder relationships, managed risks, and ensured sustainability. As a process engineer at GGI International (Nigeria) Limited, she was a key contributor to the upturn of yield of processed products at the Port Harcourt
Refining Company, through boiler (process flow) water services. She has interned at Emval Nigeria Limited as a Health, Safety, and Environment Officer, and Weafri Wells Services Limited as a Process Laboratory Assistant. Chika is a Young African Leaders Initiative and United States Department of State International Exchange Alumna. She organizes social impact programmes and initiatives on environmental sustainability and has been featured by the United States Mission to the African Union, on the US Department of State’s Young African Leaders Initiative Guest Blog, and by USAID West Africa for these projects. Currently, Chika is the Senior Environmental Consultant at IPMC Limited where she is synergizing with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team to provide environmental advisory and consultancy services to organizations in various sectors of the African economy; helping clients make smart sustainable decisions based on a more comprehensive set of key performance indicators.
