On the 6th of June 2024, IPMC launched its inaugural ESG Ratings Report, bringing together key stakeholders from the financial sector. Notable attendees included Olamipo Adeola, Robert Ade-Odiachi, Mrs. Mimi Ade-Odiachi, Agatha Afemikhe, Chuka Eseka, Ituah Ighodalo, Ladi Smith, representatives from the Securities Exchange Commission, associate Dean, LBS – Mrs Olayinka David West and the NSIA.
The event opened with a keynote address on the critical role of ESG in financial stability and investment strategies. This was followed by the presentation of the ESG Ratings Report, which provided in-depth analysis and key insights for the banking and insurance sectors.
Panel discussions explored ESG integration in investment decision-making and the regulatory landscape for ESG compliance. The event concluded with an award presentation recognizing top ESG performers and closing remarks emphasizing future commitments to sustainability.
